Our Story
Opal Construction has been in the pavement and construction industry for over 30 years. Founded in 1992 in Bay Shore, New York, our primary projects include parking lots, municipal repair projects, concrete and sidewalk construction, drainage, masonry including walkways and retaining walls, drywell installation, and line striping.

B.S. Administration. Jonathan is the founder of Opal Construction and has guided its development since 1992. He provides hands-on construction expertise, personnel management, and cost control leadership.
Christopher Cavoto
Vice President
B.S. Civil Engineering. Before joining Opal, Christopher worked on major projects including Metro-North Park Avenue Viaduct Rehabilitation ($82M), Syosset Landfill Remediation ($9M), and JFK Airport expansion ($6M). Handles Commercial Estimating and Project Management.
Robert Cavoto
Estimating & Management
B.S. Mechanical Engineering. Bob brings over 40 years of industry experience. His responsibilities include Estimating and Management, ensuring every project is accurately scoped and competitively priced.
